Chris and Carol Green were officially ordained into the ministry on May 25, 1991. To commemorate and celebrate the 35th anniversary of that milestone, they have announced the release of the newly renovated and reformatted STEP Forward LIFE Institute.

The STEP Forward Life Institute is the online teaching ministry of Chris and Carol Green who emphasize Searching and Learning through Biblical Counsel, Coaching and Mentoring. This Holy Spirit-inspired holistic approach cultivates the soil of hearts for the seeding of God's Word.
“This ministry-accredited institution is not about accumulating more education, information, degrees or certifications,” the Greens explain. “You will find answers to the hard the questions, add to your faith, embrace your unique process of growth, and make certain you're prepared for those once in a lifetime opportunities to minister to your family and serve in your community.”
Their goal is for Christian Believers to step forward with the confidence of knowing: God is their source, Experience is their study, Faith is their evidence, and Service is their credential.
"Our students simply desired to minister to their families, strengthen their faith or serve in their communities,” the Greens express with great sincerity. “So we responded with a holistic approach that prepares the soil of hearts for the seeding of God's Word. It's not a popular message, but everyone isn't assigned to corporate, organizational, institutional or ministry leadership roles; however everyone is called to servantship*. In this era in which most Believers have been trained heavily for leadership, we've unwittingly unleashed a generation that doesn't know how to follow or serve.”
The Greens believe that they are preparing their students to work and minister in the underground church (house churches and secret basement bible studies), away from big platforms and out of the spotlight. They are preparing them to help refugees of the soon-coming persecuted church within America itself.
* Servantship signifies the condition or state of being a servant, essentially meaning the act of serving others. It can also be used to refer to servant hood. Servantship emphasizes prioritizing the needs and well being of others, often with humility and a focus on service over personal gain.
Kingdom Servantship*, in a Christian context, refers to the concept of embracing a life of service and humility within the Kingdom of God, mirroring the example of Jesus Christ. It's about prioritizing the needs of others, demonstrating humility, and allowing love to guide actions, reflecting the heart of Jesus. This principle emphasizes that true greatness in the Kingdom is found through serving others, not seeking to be served.
